In my work as an artist, show artist and moderator at corporate events and in daily life, I often meet people who allow themselves to be belittled because it may seem offensive to others that they succeed.
Understandable from a biological perspective.
Yes, because we move forward in packs. The problem is only if you want to grow faster than your herd.
You are driven and things suddenly start to go well for you.
You tell it out of joy and pride and in return you get a difficult feeling that doesn’t feel supportive at all. Sometimes from people you love.
It can make you feel ostracized.
But the question is, what is this success you are heading towards hosting? For me, it’s worth EVERYTHING to enjoy your own successes and to grow at rocket speed! 🚀
I should add that ”growing” means going through setbacks, dips, days of crying and hopelessness. But that’s what we grow through!
I refuse to listen to people who say that it is not possible.
