I didn’t win the competition but I won something else. 🤩🏆
When I was 12, I stood on a ”real” stage for the first time and sang.
I was shy, sang quite quietly and had introverted body language in the center of Fruängen. A talent hunt. My mother was behind and played synth.
The day before, my mother wanted to train me in front of an audience and put me in the garden in front of my 9-year-old brother and his friend.
It was terrible. I sang and they giggled like two teenagers. It didn’t help.
The day had come and I stood on stage and sang ”The Rose”. 🌹
I didn’t win the competition. Which was no wonder. But I won something very special.
I won a realization that I’m going to be really good. Because this was awesome! I’m going to be a really good singer so I’ll have to work with this when I grow up.
Thank you 12-year-old Anna for going towards your dream!!! 🙏🙌🤩🥰
Today I love my job as a show artist and moderator at corporate events and am now creating my second album that will be released on Spotify this year. 🤩🎶
